About The People’s Chamber of Commerce
The People’s Chamber of Commerce was founded by Sharifah Hardie, Founder, CEO, and National President, from a deeply held belief that in politics, government, and business, people are often forgotten. The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, begins with “We The People” signifying that the government’s power comes from the citizens, not a monarch or a ruling class. That spirit inspires the vision and purpose of TPCOC.
Sharifah created The People’s Chamber of Commerce to place people back at the center of progress. TPCOC is an institution dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities through opportunity, connection, and shared economic strength. Instead of focusing only on businesses, we focus on people first, because people are the heart of every community.
TPCOC offers free membership, directory, education, networking opportunities, community programs, and a Timebank where members exchange services through Freedom Credits. These tools make personal and financial growth accessible to everyone.
Sharifah’s vision is to rebuild a culture where people support one another, share skills, and rise together. The People’s Chamber of Commerce exists to open doors, inspire progress, and honor the belief that real power rests with the people.
